SPX Bolting Systems recognise that the many service organizations who operate their equipment need a software system to ensure that they consistently carry out their safe bolt working practice to the highest standards. The type of flange, lubricant and bolt material are amongst items taken into consideration in our software to ensure the operator is left in no doubt as to what is required.
 
The new SPX Adviser application is based on the industry-proven SPX Adviser Bolt Load Calculator for Windows 7 and offers a slightly limited feature set to the full SPX Adviser software. The features chosen to be included in the iPad version are based on feedback from you, our customers, and will ensure you can calculate any standard applications of ANSI B16.5, MSS SP44 and API 6A & 17D pipeline flanges.  It will calculate bolt loads based on the input of various parameters. This initial version includes an extensive list of bolt materials, gaskets and flange types and builds upon the global success and universal acclaim of SPX Adviser.
 
SPX Adviser is designed to be used for Subsea and Topside applications whether it be torqueing or tensioning.

The app is easy to use and very intuitive to apply to your day to day flange management or bolt working activities.
