StarAlerts is the Celebrity Gossip and Geo-Location Game. The goal of the game is to spread as much reality gossip as possible. We all love celebrity gossip and now StarAlerts provides the best App to allows you to find and report the latest juicy gossip that is being reported near your immediate location. Check out the interactive Map and look for gossip being reported in your area within the last 10 minutes. Be the first to know if your favorite stars are nearby. Then take out your smartphone and snap a picture or video to add to the social map and share your homemade gossip report. Get the scoop first before anyone else.
The App is an augmented reality game that turns the real world into a gameboard. You can play and earn points by simply uploading pictures and videos of celebrities and making a gossip report of the celebrities that you see in the real world. Then you can see your report posted to the social map and gossip feed. Your gossip report will directly feed into the real tabloid news industry and may get picked up by TMZ, E, CNN, or other news outlets.
All game players equipped with this StarAlerts App are contributing to the report feeds and filling in the social map with first hand information and this acts like an underground reporting network for celebrity sightings. The game then takes over and makes it fun to compete with the community of players to see who is truly the greatest reporter of Gossip each month. The Leaderboard tracks the frequency and quality of the gossip reports that you post to the community and the social map. The higher the volume and quality of your gossip reports then the more points you earn. The winner of the monthly leaderboard will be showered with accolades and potentially earn themselves a fine reward.
