Application Description
Help a NYC Columbia student track the NYC subways. App uses crowdsourcing and mobile phone sensing to automatically find location of all subways. For Free. We need 10k users and have only a few hundred so far. Download and when there are enough users, the information will start rolling in and you will be able to see when the train will come.

HOW TO USE:
1)Download App, blue arrow next to battery will always be on showing that app is receiving notifications in BaseStationID.
2)NO USER INPUT required to provide data, all done automatically.
3)When data starts entering the system, i.e. when there are thousands of downloads, then information about train arrival times will begin showing up on the map.
The best part, its free and available now. Also includes address lookup to find best route. Trip advisories about delays and changes in service.
Responding to User Feedback: The GPS on the phone is not on the entire time as indicated in a User Review. Instead the application registers for the OS to supply changes in base station to the application.The indicator next to the battery is indicative of this, not GPS use.
