The clock can be configured so the hours start counting from civil midnight, solar midnight, sunrise, noon, or sunset. This is a great app for those that want to keep their daily rhythms in sync with rhythm of the sun, or monthly rhythms in sync with the moon. You will be surprised how much solar noon varies from civil noon! The app also provides some educational info on solar and lunar cycles, including info on the Metonic cycle used by many traditional calendars.
