TapToVoice
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
TapToVoice is a simple "text to speech" application that allows those who have expressive or mobility difficulties and other disabilities, to be able to speak and be understood. It was born from a simple idea: help a friend who had a bad accident and could neither speak nor gesticulate for a few days. Then I thought it might be useful for other people in need.
The app includes two voices: a robotic male voice (offline) and a female (more "human" and online version) derived from public undocumented APIs of Google Translate. The user can decide which voice wants to use depending on the availability of the network.
Being a prototype, would be very nice to improve it with your suggestions, hoping that it will be really useful for someone.
