The Intergovernmental Conference Tbilisi+35:Environmental Education for Sustainable Development will bring together around 400 delegates from all parts of the world to carry forward the global appeal for environmental education as a means for sustainable development set forth by the 1977 Tbilisi Declaration.The Declaration was adopted at the world’s first Intergovernmental Conference on Environmental Education (EE) organized in Tbilisi,Georgia, by UNESCO in cooperation with UNEP.
