Application Description
The NUMBERS Game is a fun app for the young and the young at heart!
Guessing a secret 4-digit code generated by your iPhone is the object of the game. The strategy is similar to MasterMind. The difference is that it's not colored pegs but numbers instead - ten possible digits (0 to 9). When you submit your guess, it is evaluated, and through color codes you will know whether a digit is at the right/wrong place and if at all it belongs.
There are 3 levels of play.
At the EASY level, you will know what the 4 digits are. You only have to to sequence the digits. Things become even simpler if and when there are repeated digits. Repeat digits are color coded for you. You have 4 attempts to get the code right.
At the MID level, 2 of the digits that are NOT in the four-digit code is grayed out for you. So you play using only the remaining 8 digits. You have 5 tries to get the code right.
At the HARD level, any of the 10 digits could make up the code. There's a twist to the game at this level. Your earlier guesses vanishes slowly (but surely) before your very eyes, and you have 5 tries only to crack the code.
Variety is indeed the spice of life. Ergo, at all levels of play, there might be leading zeroes.
There's a scoreboard that lets you keep track of your performance. This is a game that blends skill and logic with luck. Luck here refers to that elusive lady who aids those who persevere.
