Track Recorder is a great and easy to use application for your iPhone or iPad equipped with GPS, which allows to record track of your steps or ride. You can then quickly and easily view this track in Google Earth application directly on iPhone or iPad.

Using Track Recorder is really simple, just click the button to start or stop recording tracks. Track Recorder shows the length of the track being recorded. Track Recorder saves recorded tracks in popular KML format and allows you to save any number of tracks. Tracks can be viewed directly on your iPhone or iPad in Google Earth or any other application that supports KML format. Track can also be sent by e-mail or copied using iTunes (requires iOS 3.2 and later).

With a device and iOS capable of multitasking, the application runs in background and keeps track whatever else you do.

For convenience, if active, the application shows not only the length and other information of track being recorded, but also your current velocity, and, if there is a hardware support, magnetic or true heading.

Please note, that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
