Often one wishes to record information in a format which is a little more structured than free text, but still not as constrained as existing applications whose schema is built in and rarely meets all our needs. Here comes Ubibase.

Ubibase is a little database application with the following features:
- lightly structured, schema can evolve over time with your needs
- full cloud synchronisation
- offline access
- multiple databases, each with its own schema
- multiple accounts, so you can share different databases with different people

Database view:
- list the databases for the current account
- select a database to view its records or edit its schema
- ability to login/logout to view databases in other accounts
- automatically logs into the previous account on startup

Schema view:
- display the schema/form for the selected database
- add, delete, rename attributes, even with data inside the database
- text, long text, number, date, boolean attributes supported
- reorder attributes, group attributes by sections for later viewing in record view
- the schema is synced so you can add records from other devices

Record list view:
- display all records in the selected database
- each record shows up to 2 attributes (main and detail) in this view
- select a record to view or edit its attributes

Record view:
- display the selected record using the form created in schema view
- switch to edit mode

Record edit view:
- edit the record selected
- display the appropriate keyboard/picker for text, numbers, dates and booleans
- the data is synced as soon as you press save

Notes:
- uses Dropbox as the underlying cloud synchronization technology
- requires a valid Dropbox account
- charging fees and storage quotas may be applied by Dropbox
