Customize your index by selecting your skin type, sunscreen's SPF, the local terrain (park, beach, city, skiing, etc.) and cloud cover and the app will calculate your local UV Index and estimate how long you have in the sun before skin damage occurs. The EPA or TEMIS *predicted* UV Index is automatically obtained for your location. If you choose, the app will also remember the 'time to seek shade' for later.

Now available for world-wide coverage. Please note this app requires the iPhone/iPad Location Services to be on-- there is no interface to enter a location manually. This is an iPhone app, but it will run on an iPad.
