Wire Service is an app for following your favorite blogs. Wire Service subscribes directly to the blogs' RSS or Atom feeds and does not rely on a 3rd party aggregation service. Features:

* Import from Google Reader: Back up your subscriptions and starred items before Reader goes away on July 1, 2013. Other apps import from Reader, but Wire Service is the only one we know of that will download ALL your starred items, not just the most recent ones.

* Simple gestures-based interface: Tap to read, swipe right to mark an item read, swipe left to add to a read later service like Instapaper.

* Open links directly: Some feeds only publish links to posts and include very little content. You can configure Wire Service to go straight to the source in this case.

* Power read: Some blogs just post too many times a day. You can configure Wire Service to automatically mark posts as read once they are scrolled off the screen.
