Application Description
This is an official app of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
This innovative app allows members of the public to submit pictures or video of incidents that are of interest to the police and within the jurisdiction of Northern Ireland, only.
This app is NOT for reporting crime. Instead:
- For emergencies, always dial 999;
- For non-emergencies, please call 0845 600 8000 or visit the official PSNI website, www.psni.police.uk.
In submitting a report you agree that you do so of your own free will. You should not put yourself in harm's way. PSNI does not accept any liability for personal injury, or loss or damage to property.
Reports to PSNI using this app will be reviewed within 36 hours of submission by designated police officers and staff only, and may be retained for longer than 6 months. Unless obliged or permitted by law, we will not disclose your personal details to third parties other than, but not limited to, Northern Ireland’s Public Prosecution Service, Courts and Tribunal Service, and Youth Justice Agency. Submissions can be made anonymously.
Abuse of this service will be investigated by the police, as it may constitute a criminal offence. Incidents of a sensitive nature must not be submitted using this service.
If your report is of significant assistance to the police, you may be asked to submit your device for forensic extraction of the photo/video and to provide a brief statement.
