From the moment he penned down his first song at the age of 12, Brandon knew his passion was music and song writing.
After a 30 minute lesson on guitar with his friend at 15, his ability to write and compose became more imminent and was his primary outlet of expression. Like an average local boy, growing up wasn’t exactly a bed of roses for Brandon. Always being told right from wrong, dreams from reality, his passion took a backseat.
In 2010 however, with the encouragement of a few close friends who later became his bandmates, Brandon finally mustered enough courage to produce an EP with his national service allowance savings.
Ever since its debut in June 2011, Brandon Lee’s – ‘My Life’ EP has garnered tremendous support from the masses and the media.
Apart from attaining good reviews from local news publications like The Straits Times, TODAY, Seventeen Magazine, and more. On radio, their songs have also been aired on Saint FM in the UK, local radio stations – Power 98, 93.8 LIVE, Re-Diffusion, City Radio and others. What’s more, besides having the honour of being featured on 93.8LIVE ‘Lunch Box’ with DJ Desmond Wong and Power 98 ‘The Acoustic Lounge’ with DJ Darren Wee, songs from the EP were also aired on TV channel – Okto.
Featured as Local Artiste of the month on August 2011 at a famous coffee store island wide, Brandon’s EP is now available in local CD Stores – Gramophone, and for digital downloads on Itunes, Amazon and CDbaby.
At the moment Brandon holds a full time job as a full time trainer. When asked if he will ever regret pursuing this dream, he answered, “Never. In fact I’m really excited about our full length album coming up and I hope our supporters will be expectant and please with what’s ahead”.
