The International Retail User Group (IRUG) is a mutual benefit organization providing a networking partnership for the sharing of information, experiences and best practices to solve common business problems. IRUG is a true user group, owned, managed and controlled by retailers for the benefit of retailers since 1976.

IRUG’s original purpose was to ensure that the solution providers solved actual problems with reliable solutions. It now encompasses much broader topics, but is still focused on helping retailers survive and flourish while both the complexity and the rate of change in the industry is increasing dramatically.

The annual conference with an agenda developed by retailers for retailers features Keynote addresses by industry experts, super sessions, panels, elective sessions, birds-of-a-feather sessions, a large expo hall, receptions and numerous networking events. The conference is also accompanied by focus groups addressing the most important issues facing retailers.
