The purpose of this application is to introduce you to the basic microscope handling and operation. In this tutorial you will:
1. Identify the components of the microscope.
2. Learn to locate and focus a specimen in the microscope.
3. Adjust the optical to obtain a clear image of the specimen.
4. Review basic lab safety and proper aseptic techniques.

There are four primary components of this training:
1. Documentation: This area provides textual knowledge of importance for this tutorial.
2. Demonstration: In this section you will be prompted for each step in the process.
3. Practice : In this section you will go through the process on your own with no prompts but you will be alerted if you make an incorrect step.
4. Test area: This area contains written and interactive tests required to complete this tutorial. The score area will allow you to submit scores to any necessary instructors if required.
