Run One Mile
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
Learn to run one mile - app made for people that never ran. Never, ever.
• Optimized for iPhone 5!
• Ready for iOS 6!
This four-week training program is designed for total beginner who want to build up to running a mile. Each week, you'll make a slight increase to your running distance and a decrease in your walking distance. By the end of four weeks, you'll be able to run one mile without stopping.
This app helps you along the way, measuring the distance for you and telling you when you switch pace from walk to jog and vice-versa. It's based on GPS, thus iPhone is a requirement (no iPod touches, sorry).
MAIN FEATURES
• voice feedback in male / female voice
• (near) real-time visual feedback
• full running history with extensive details and graphs
• extensive details view of each run, with speed changes over time, average and best pace and full map of the track
• ability to pick music or run in silence (app has fully featured music player with playlists, shuffle, re-ordering etc)
• share the best results on dailymile, Facebook, Twitter and more
Problems, suggestions, feedback?
Visit our site and leave us a message - we aim to respond to every email in 24h.
Note:
This app uses GPS tracking to measure speed and distance. While the run is in progress, it will continue to measure even with the app in background; for ex: if someone calls you during the workout.
Prolonged use of GPS can significantly impact battery life. Since some of the run sessions can go for 20 or so minutes, make sure you have good battery charge when you go out.
