You enter the dimensions of the wall/floor needing tiling. You then enter the size of the tiles and the expected gap (grout) between them. TileMate gives you three layout options:

1 - Corner: i.e. you start tiling from one corner of the room/wall
2 - Middle i.e. you start tiling a central column of tiles and work left and right from this column.
3- Center i.e. you place a single tile in the center of the wall and tile out from that.
