How to type.
Look for the character and indicate it. If you do not find the character, press the Next for more predicted characters.

For juktaokkhars, put the halant/ref shown in red in between the consonants.

These are all according to standard Unicode rules for digital input of Assamese but you have to grow familiar.

Here are few examples.

সুর্য = স + ু + র + ্ + য

Note that was a juktaokkhar, so you put a ref in between.

নিষ্ঠুৰ = ন + ি + ষ + ্ + ঠ + ু + ৰ

Note that the matra (a dependent vowel is always entered after the consonant even though it may be actually occuring before in form). That is merely typography, not orthography.

আনন্দ = আ + ন + ন + ্ + দ

A typical juktaokkhar usage.

পরিক্ষা = প + র + ি + ক + ্ + ষ + া

Did you know, khyo is actually only a juktaokkhar, you probably did.

সামৰ্থ্য = স + া + ম + ৰ + ্ + থ + ্ + য

A ja fala is a juktaokkhar too.

প্ৰাচুৰ্য = প + ্ + ৰ + া + চ + ু + ৰ + ্ + য

Try them, you will soon figure out.

রাষ্ট্রিয় = র + া + ষ + ্ + ট + ্ + র + ি + য়

This was a three letter consonant cluster, again a juktaokkhar and note that antastha ya is a character in Assamese. It doesnt occur in Hindi though, their jamuna is yamuna anyway. :)

যুক্তাক্ষর = য + ু + ক + ্ + ত + া + ক + ্ + ষ + র

আকৃষ্ট = আ + ক + ৃ + ষ + ্ + ট

the rhi fala is not a juktaokkhar, its a matra only. Each character type, swar varna, vyanjan varna, matra, special symbols are shown in different colours in the Panini Keypad for your assistance and also learning.

জিজ্ঞাস= জ + ি + জ + ্ + ঞ + া + স + া
নিষ্ঠুৰ = ন + ি + ষ + ্ + ঠ + ু + ৰ
