The Panini Keypad is a serial global award winning invention that allows you to type fast on the phone through an intelligent predictive keypad that is based on linguistics!

How to type:
Look for the character and indicate it. If you do not find the character, press the Next for more predicted characters.

For vothulu, put the halant/virama shown in red in between the consonants.

These are all according to standard Unicode rules for digital input of Telugu but you have to grow familiar.

Here are few examples.

స్వర్ణాంధ్రప్రదేశ్ = స + ్ + వ + ర + ్ + ణ + ా + ం + ధ + ్ + ర + ప + ్ + ర + ద + ే + శ + ్

Note that was a vothulu, so you put a virama/halant in between.

నిర్బంధం = న + ి + ర + ్ + బ + ం + ధ + ం

Note that the matra (a dependent vowel is always entered after the consonant even though it may be actually occuring on top or after in form). That is merely typography, not orthography.

శ్రీమంతుడు = శ + ్ + ర + ీ + మ + ం + త + ు + డ + ు

A typical vothulu usage.

లక్ష్మీ = ల + క + ్ + ష + ్ + మ + ీ

Did you know, kshya is actually only a vothulu, you probably did.

వైజ్ఞానిక = వ + ై + జ + ్ + ఞ + ా + న + ి + క

A gya is a vothulu too.
